This 60-hour classroom course is designed to prepare students for Hearth Installer Certification, a recognized indicator that a hearth professional has achieved a high level of training and expertise within the industry.
The course provides comprehensive instruction on the safe and code-compliant installation of hearth appliances, helping participants develop the knowledge and skills required to meet certification standards. Upon completion, Certified Specialists will be proficient in key areas such as safety and placement, venting requirements, and manufacturer-approved installation practices.

Compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and manufacturer instructions
Proper selection of hearth appliance size, type, and features
Approved materials and methods for wall and floor heat protection
Correct sizing, type, configuration, and height of venting systems
