GSTS partners with the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) to offer the e-learning Mentoring Program. Students enroll via Granite State Trade School, obtain the passwords and login credentials to utilize the PHCC website to complete their studies, and attend a few mentoring sessions at our school in Raymond, NH where we will be providing classroom study/mentoring sessions to assist students with questions and technical issues.

All apprentices in this hybrid program must attend required mentoring sessions at Granite State Trade School (GSTS). The final exam for the course must be proctored as outlined in the Course Information. Course fees do not include textbooks. Text books may be purchased separately form GSTS or Cengage Learning.

Payment: Fees must be prepaid. Students enrolling in any year other than Year 1 must provide proof of eligibility. Enrollment fees are non-refundable. Courses are transferrable within the first 60 days of enrollment with the payment of a $ 125 transfer fee.

Courses

HVAC 101 Online

Prerequisites: None

This program is designed to provide students who cannot attend classes in a traditional apprentice program with the same opportunity to learn the textbook fundamentals of the trade. This training course must be supplemented by your employer, through both technical assistance and on‐the‐job training in each area of instruction in the book. Students must attend a few mentoring classes in our Raymond, NH facility.

No scheduled mentoring sessions. Students may attend our regularly scheduled HVAC evening courses for mentoring.

HVAC 301 Online

Prerequisites: HVAC 101 and 201 or equivalent

This program is designed to provide students who cannot attend classes in a traditional apprentice program with the same opportunity to learn the textbook fundamentals of the trade. This training course must be supplemented by your employer, through both technical assistance and on‐the‐job training in each area of instruction in the book. Students must attend a few mentoring classes in our Raymond, NH facility.
