NFI Hearth Installers Certification

NFI Certification is an excellent indicator that a hearth professional has achieved the highest level of training in the industry. This course is designed to help you achieve your National Fireplace Institute® certification. As a Certified Specialist, you will be proficient in topics like safety and placement, venting requirements, and installation guidelines.

The Granite State Trade School NFI Hearth Installers Certification course includes:

  • Compliance with code regulations and manufacturers’ instructions
  • Size, type, features of the hearth appliance
  • Proper materials for heat protection of walls and floors
  • Appropriate size, type, configuration, and height of venting system
  • Selection of proper fuel
  • Guidelines for operation and maintenance of the hearth system

NFI Hearth Installers Certification

Classes are held from 8 AM to 4 PM.
5-Day course (40 hour requirement)
Classroom only.
