Under the general supervision of the Utilities Distribution Superintendent, perform duties related to the design, installation, repair, maintenance, and operation of distribution systems for potable water, heating water supply and return, domestic hot water supply and return, chilled water supply and return, stormwater, wastewater, steam, and condensate. Inspect, maintain, and repair exterior utility distribution systems, stormwater treatment systems, lift stations, underground utility tunnels, trenches and pits, and hydrant meter boxes for temporary water service to construction projects.

Requires coordination with town public works staff, engineering consultants, Facilities Asset Management, and project managers. May make recommendations on equipment and repair budgets or maintain GIS databases and perform utility system mapping duties.

Will train the right candidate.
