Oil Heat Technician

This course is certified by NORA, the National Oil Research Alliance. NORA has three levels of technician training, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

This new 100-hour course is NORA Bronze level rated. NORA standards require a Bronze level technician to have the required hours of education, pass the exam, plus three years of field experience certified by the employer to become a Silver level technician.

For those that take the course, pass the exam, and do NOT have the three year’s experience, they will be awarded the Bronze certificate until they complete the field experience requirement.

NORA Silver is accepted by New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont for various licensing requirements.
