Grounds Worker

Under direct supervision of the Grounds Manager this position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of a very high-visibility areas including responsibility for the day-to-day operations of all gardens; including weed control, design and creation of all new gardens and plantings. The Grounds Worker/Gardener also assists the Grounds Manager to select contractors for maintaining the over 2,000 trees University wide, as well as provide input on capital projects for plantings and landscape for both new projects and renovations. This position is 100% time with benefits working 40 hours per week.

Document Management Specialist

Manages the Document Management System for all of UNH Facilities and is responsible for organizing, indexing, and entering all documents pertaining to all phases of current and future construction projects as well as existing building archives into the system. Responsible for ensuring the consistency in the identification and cataloging of all project documents entered by system users. Trains, Assists, and supports system users to ensure proper document entry into the document management system. Hires, manages, and oversees student workers hired for data entry. Guides the establishment and continual updates of protocols and procedures for archiving.

Under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, to perform work requiring skill in the trade of Electrician for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment, fixtures, and wiring.

Minimum Qualifications

* Technical/vocational school graduation or equivalent apprenticeship.
* Journeyman’s Electrician License or higher.
* Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, methods, tools and hazards of the trade.
* Ability to read and understand blue prints, electrical schematic diagrams and wire circuit drawings.
* Ability to compute voltage amperage and resistance factors using simple algebraic formulas.
* Ability to inspect equipment, determine malfunction and make necessary repairs.

* Must be able to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary.
* Valid motor vehicle operator’s license.

Position Summary: Assists with direct supervision of HHR operations at our Casino in Manchester, NH. Plan and execute gaming projects. Essential Responsibilities • Assists with establishing department standards, guidelines and objectives, and maintaining other ad- ministrative processes such as budget and staffing to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of assigned areas. • Assists with hiring, motivation, training, coaching, mentoring and directing staff to ensure that Team. • Members receive leadership, guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives. • Have knowledge of all HHR machines on the gaming floor and be able to determine proper payouts, is a bonus. • Responsible for ensuring that all department paperwork is completed correctly. These include jack- pot slips, appropriate tax documents, guest claim forms. Candidate must ensure that all forms have the required signatures. • Reports activity daily and coordinates with HHR operations on location; including customer activity and proactive repairs and maintenance, HHR moves, diagnostics and any unusual activity. • Inspects, maintains, and repairs HHR machines as well as bill exchangers. • Responsible for periodic maintenance, equipment testing and service calls for HHR machines. • Assists in monitoring the HHR system. • Assists in training of HHR technicians and occasional assistance in troubleshooting various HHR ma- chine malfunctions. Delegates authority and assigns responsibilities. • Effectively handles customer concerns and requests, ensure that all HHR machines are functioning properly and are available for play. • Positively affects interactions with guests and employees and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees. • Addresses and manages complaints, or concerns from guests and team members. • Utilizes effective communication tools to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely information is provided to all HHR operations on location and to the HHR Technical Manager. • Attend required training sessions offered by the Company. • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member’s department. • Take on and manage various projects as assigned in order to aid in achievement of evolving Company goals and objectives. • Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco. • Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming. • Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge. • Other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree in electronics or related field preferred. • Experience as an HHR Technician / Bench Technician preferred. • Required competencies include initiative, time management, decision-making, communication proficiency and organizational skills. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, or equivalent applications and menu driven programs is required. Knowledgeable in creating spread sheets or similar data reporting. • Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels and varied light levels including flashing lights. • Must be able to formulate and communicate ideas and to make independent decisions. • Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses, certifications, and indemnifications requisite to the successful completion of all essential responsibilities. • Must meet or exceed all regulatory conditions stipulated for individuals holding this or similar positions.
