Maintenance II

Summary
This position is responsible for performing general maintenance throughout the entire facility including but not limited to; daily safety inspections, facility repairs and maintenance, attraction repairs and maintenance and other tasks as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
Roles & Responsibilities
·         Perform general facility-wide maintenance and related work on roofing, exterior and interior buildings and structures, restrooms, food building and pump rooms

·         Lead and assist with daily carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical projects

·         Responsible for assisting with inspecting and maintaining park attractions to meet all safety and performance standards

·         Install, maintain, service, and rebuild a wide array of mechanical equipment including slides, pools, pumps/motors, commercial kitchen equipment, etc. to maintain safety and operational standards

·         Perform routine housekeeping to keep work areas safe, clean and organized

·         Perform landscaping duties as assigned including mowing, line trimming, grounds cleanup, pruning and planting

·         Performs water quality duties as assigned (training provided)

·         Perform in-park post-season and off-season tasks such as fall leaf cleanup, winterization of selected pool systems, snow removal and preventative maintenance/ repairs items

·         Provide quality workmanship while consistently meeting all established deadlines and budgets

·         Adhere to all safety policies and procedures at all times

·         Properly document work performed along with time and materials used per park policies and procedures

·         Report any maintenance, mechanical and budget issues to the Director of Maintenance in a timely and complete manner

·         Other duties as assigned

Generator Install Technician

Standby Generator Install Technician

 

We are hiring immediately for a full time Standby Generator Install Technician to join our growing team. Training provided. Opportunity to progress to a Service Technician or Apprentice Electrician position.

 

Position

Reporting to the General Manager, the Install Technician will be a key member of our Installation team. Working both independently and collaborating with other team members, you will perform all necessary aspects of the daily job to complete installations of standby generators.

 

Full Job Description

 

·         Test Generator set up service for customers, installing, connecting, testing, or adjusting equipment

·         Assist the installation team with all aspects of the job prep and generator installation

·         Dig trenches for underground wires or cables.

·         Run equipment as needed to complete site work

·         Backfill trenches, clean-up job site, and close out installation jobs

·         Explain generator service to customers after installation, and collect any installation fees due.

·         Complete manufacturer trainings

·         Stock all necessary job materials, parts and tools on company vehicles to ensure all parts and materials needed are available for the daily service jobs.

·         Participate in regular safety trainings.

·         General site preparation and clean up

·         Perform system start-ups, test outages, and completion of maintenance checklists

·         Maintain excellent condition of company tools and vehicles

Qualifications

·         Familiarity with generator models, specifications and best practices (will train)

·         Able to identify and resolve issues

·         Excellent teamwork skills and communication – ability to foster a positive team environment

·         Highly organized & have ability to multi-task and set priorities

·         Effectively coordinate and communicate with others

·         Comfortably able to lift 50lbs, and work with various tools

·         Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record

·         Drive a company vehicle safely

·         Able to travel to job sites for each day

·         Must have cell phone/texting capabilities

·         Basic computer/tablet knowledge

Generator Service Technician

We are hiring immediately for an experienced, full time Standby Generator Service Technician for generator maintenance and servicing. Training available as needed.

Position

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Technician will be a key member of our Service team. Working both independently and collaborating with other team members, you will interact with customers, assess and troubleshoot service issues, and complete generator maintenance.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

·         Complete required Preventative Maintenance and repairs of Kohler, Generac and Briggs & Stratton standby generators.

·         Provide superior customer service by answering any customer concerns/questions.

·         Follow all manufacturer specifications, code requirements, safety regulations, and local guidelines to ensure the customer’s generator is running properly.

·         Lead the identification and troubleshooting of service issues

·         Maintain detailed paperwork & records to provide input for customer invoicing and warranty submissions based on work completed

·         Complete manufacturer trainings

·         Stock all necessary job materials, parts and tools on company vehicles to ensure all parts and materials needed are available for the daily service jobs.

·         Participate in regular safety trainings.

·         General site preparation and clean up

·         Perform system start-ups, test outages, and completion of maintenance checklists

·         Maintain excellent condition of company tools and vehicles

·         Remain up to date on product specifications, service bulletins and industry best practices.

Qualifications

·         Generator maintenance experience or related small engine repair experience preferred

·         Familiarity with generator models, specifications and maintenance best practices

·         Able to identify and resolve issues

·         Excellent teamwork skills and communication – ability to foster a positive team environment

·         Highly organized & have ability to multi-task and set priorities

·         Effectively coordinate and communicate with others

·         Comfortably able to lift 50lbs, and work with various tools

·         Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record

·         Must have cell phone/texting capabilities

·         Basic computer/tablet knowledge
