Emergency vehicle technician

We are hiring full-time emergency vehicle installers at our manufacturing facility. Primary responsibilities are installing, testing, repairing and removing 12-volt law enforcement vehicle equipment, including, but not limited light bars, flashers, sirens, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, video cameras, laptops, printers, consoles, transport partitions, K-9 cages and more. This will include working on new vehicles, upgrading existing vehicles and servicing prior installs.

Entry Level Commercial HVAC Technician

Entry level position for HVAC Commercial service tech. Must be willing to get NH gasfitter license.

– Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems, appliances, and equipment.
– Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems.
– Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC/R systems and appliances.
– Repair or replace defective parts or components in HVAC/R systems and appliances.

Medical Equipment Service Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

The Medical Equipment Service Technician is responsible for the repair and upgrade of Novocure devices. This includes contributing to & maintaining Service procedures and work instructions as they pertain to the US Operations.

This is a full time, non-exempt position reporting to the US Service Supervisor and is located in Portsmouth, NH.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Repair and upgrade Novocure devices per released procedures

·        Document service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records

·        Contribute to and maintain the Service Department’s procedures and work instructions

·        Learn processes and procedures of advanced repairs requiring soldering

 

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

·        High school diploma or equivalent experience; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred

·        0 to 2 years’ experience working in a service or assembler group for a DME

·        Soldering experience preferred

·        Experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred

·        Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP preferred

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

·        Demonstrated experience working in a team environment

·        Ability to execute responsibilities with minimal direct supervision and have a high attention to detail

·        Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams

·        Ability to learn testing and troubleshooting of electronic devices involving specialized and generic test equipment and software diagnostic tools

·        Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively

·        Knowledge of ESD protocols and practices preferred

TITLE: Facilities Systems Technician

DEPARTMENT: Merrimack County Facilities

STATUS: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

To perform the technical maintenance and repair of building systems such as heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration or general building maintenance.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

Under the general supervision of the Director of Merrimack County Facilities and direct supervision of a Foreman, within established County and Department policies and procedures, the Facilities Technician performs the following functions:

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

1. Installs, repairs, and maintains air-conditioning, refrigeration, health and ventilating systems for county-owned buildings and facilities.

2. Calibrates and adjusts hydraulic, pneumatic, electric and electronics controls and motors to ensure efficient operations.

3. Tests, cleans, lubricates, and chemically treats heating and cooling systems on a scheduled basis.

4. Orders materials and supplies and maintains inventory.

5. Maintains records, logs, and job costs to provide for budgetary information.

6. Monitors outside contractors to ensure compliance with stated specifications.

7. Examines property, grounds and equipment on a regular basis to ensure safety and proper maintenance or improvement.
8. Responds to emergency calls to maintain safe and proper operating condition.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

1. Remove refuse and/or snow.

2. Perform other similar or related duties as required or directed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Individual must possess these knowledges, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the primary functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, using some other combination of skills and abilities with or without the aid of mechanical devices, to safely perform the primary functions of the job.

1. Knowledge of electronic temperature and humidity controls, including maintenance and repair procedures.

2. Knowledge of occupational and safety precautions employed in mechanical, electrical and building trades.

3. Knowledge of brazing, soldering and welding of various metals.

4. Knowledge of basic chemistry.

5. Requires skill in developing formats and procedures for special applications or investigating and reviewing the use of equipment and data for a specialized function.

6. Requires knowledge of business practices and procedures or technical training in a craft or trade, including working from detailed instructions, to apply knowledge in a variety of practical situations.

7. Requires responsibility for achieving direct service objectives by assessing agency service needs and making preliminary recommendations for the development of alternative short-term program policies or procedures.

8. No direct supervision of other employees.

9. Requires performing regular job functions in an adverse working environment containing a combination of disagreeable elements which impact significantly upon the employee’s capacity for completing work assignments. This level includes work-related accidents or assault.
10. Requires medium work, including continuous strenuous activities such as frequent reaching, bending, or lifting as well as performing work activities which require fine manual dexterity or coordination in operating machines or equipment.

11. Requires summarizing data, preparing reports and making recommendations based on findings which contribute to solving problems and achieving work objectives. This level also requires presenting information for use by the administrative-level managers in making decisions.

12. Requires coordinating a combination of diverse job functions in order to integrate professional and technical department goals. This level also requires considerable judgment to implement a sequence of operations or actions.

13. Requires objective assessment in analyzing and developing new work methods and procedures subject to periodic review and in making decisions according to established technical, professional or administrative standards.

14. Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and in writing.

15. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communications.

16. Near vision acuity to read manuals and distinguish color codes.

7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Occasional Evenings, Weekends and Holidays
On Call Occasionally

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Associate’s degree from a recognized technical school with a major in mechanical or electrical technology or maintenance.

EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years experience in the operation and maintenance of the mechanical and electrical equipment used in buildings or any combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledges, skills and abilities.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Valid New Hampshire Driver’s License is required.
