JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking several Field Service Boiler/Burner/Controls Technicians. Experience is a big plus however we will train apprentices as well. Position primarily requires a positive attitude with solution-oriented approach to problem solving. Must take pride in your work and have ability to work as part of a team. As factory authorized service technicians, we demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and capability to support our equipment. World-Class customer service and efficiency is our goal!

Apprentices:

If you are driven to establish a career in this industry but do not have the experience in essential functions listed below; you should still apply if you can meet our responsibilities/expectations and physical demands

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Hands-on ability for combustion tuning and analysis as well as troubleshooting skills to determine and adjust a full range of burners from .5 to 30 MMBTU input
Factory start-up and commissioning of various C&I thermal equipment including hydronic boilers, high- and low-pressure steam systems including firetube and industrial water tube boilers, steam turbines, heat exchangers, snow melt systems, etc.
Boiler room analyses for possible opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency
Understanding of all types of hot water and steam (high pressure & low pressure) boiler support equipment to include deaerators, feed systems, blow down systems, economizers and waste heat recovery equipment
Understanding of wiring diagrams, electrical, controls and instrumentation
Burner upgrades/conversions
Advanced Burner control upgrades/conversions
Implementation of energy efficiency measures
Technical report writing

RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPECTATIONS:

Perform scheduled & emergency maintenance/repair of the equipment and all other associated equipment
Perform installation of the equipment at customer sites as well as conducting pre-installation assistance
Must be available for “On Call” 24 hour emergency service rotation. Additional compensation is provided when “On Call”. Overtime/Double-time compensation paid for work performed outside of normal business hours.
Scheduled night and weekend work is sometimes required to meet customer needs. Advance notice will be provided and will show flexibility/consideration whenever possible.
Must have attitude and aptitude to develop a high level of customer service skills, as well as the ability to respond quickly to service calls with good time management and planning
Must be motivated and fast paced personality with strong work ethic
Must work effectively with little or no supervision once trained
Able to read, write and have good oral communications skills in English, other languages a plus
Computer ability should be proficient for producing required reports
Must maintain a valid Driver’s License to drive rental vehicles & able to pass a DOT physical for driving fleet vehicles as required, a CDL is not required
Maintain company provided equipment, tools and or fleet vehicle as per company policy.
This role requires ability to pass a pre-hire drug test, pre-hire background check and completion of an I-9 form.
Requires completion of company provided confined space & lockout/tagout training in order to work safely as part of a team
Responsible for the prevention and/or mitigation of any environmental impact associated with job-related tasks, accidents, and emergency situations or conditions
Actively promotes safe behaviors and health awareness at all times in the execution of daily tasks

We are currently looking to hire the following positions to join with our existing talented, energetic, fun team!  Excellent Pay and Hours!

EXPERIENCED CAKE DECORATORS: ~who are artistically talented; detail oriented and organized. Will work with buttercream, whipped cream and ganache. In addition to cake decorating, team member will assist customers with special orders and product selection, provide the customer with fast and friendly service.

BAKERY TEAM MEMBER: must be detail oriented, able to think on your feet, and work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to work independently as well as work as part of team. In addition to finishing pastries with creative toppings, team members will assist customers with special orders and product selection, provide the customer with fast and friendly service. Experience in retail customer service a plus.

Apprentice Electrician

Your responsibilities include tasks assigned by your foremen that range from assisting with installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibrations of electricals systems and equipment.  Your training and development are key to success in the field. We will train you to build control panels
in our UL 508A Control Panel Shop, and we will train you to Program VFDs, PLCs, Radio Telemetry Systems & SCADA.

Remedial Systems Technician

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA) is seeking a Remedial Systems Technician to support our Site Remediation practice in our Bedford, New Hampshire office.  GZA is looking for candidates with an interest in operating, maintaining, and constructing remedial systems focused on, but not limited to, groundwater pumping and treatment systems and will provide training for applicants that are interested in the position.  This position is an entry level position where considerable training will be provided to the candidate to prepare them for assigned tasks. Skills in the areas of plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, and light construction will be important to this job.

This position will require 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training and annual medical monitoring necessary to work at listed hazardous waste sites. GZA will provide this training and monitoring following acceptance of an employment agreement.

Responsibilities:Work with Project Managers and others to plan, coordinate, and perform remedial system operational and maintenance tasks, as well as system construction-related tasks.
Observation, documentation, and reporting of system conditions.
Performing routine operation and maintenance tasks independently.
Responding to remedial system alarms.
Diagnosing and proposing repairs to remedial systems.
Performance of environmental (e.g., soil, air, and water) sample collection for analytical laboratory analysis, and performance of routine field screening analyses. Previous experience in environmental sampling is a plus.
Performance of unsupervised field tasks, such as recording system flow, pressure, temperature, etc.
Collection of data and other information to be used in the preparation of reports, and compilation and organization of environmental data.
Will be responsible for data review, interpretation, and field report preparation.

Special Skills/Requirements:Ideal candidate will possess the following professional traits: ability to multi-task, initiative and be highly motivated, work well with a team of diverse engineers, technicians, clients, and contractors, adhere to project deadlines, and demonstrate a good work ethic. Individual would function within engineering design teams involved in a variety of private and public sector projects.
Experience related to soil vapor extraction, and free product recovery is a plus.
Candidate should have an interest in remedial systems and system operation, maintenance, and construction.
Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to follow direction, work independently or on a team.
Experience in preparing field documentation, project specifications, and reports a plus.
Availability to work Monday through Friday and some evenings and weekends as warranted by project demands.
Candidates should have the capacity to work outdoors in all seasons through various kinds of weather.
Strong attention to detail with analytical and judgment capabilities.

  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.

  • Bids farewell to Guests leaving. Ensures everything was satisfactory and invites Guests to return.
  • Notifies Manager of any Guest that is perceived to be unhappy.
  • Checks for restocking of necessary supplies. Brings all areas up to standard.
  • Reviews the cleanliness and organization of the Midway games.
  • Efficiently and safely performs daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly game maintenance.
  • Assists with general store maintenance as directed by Management.
  • Assists other team members as needed.
