Fire Sprinkler Apprentice

Job Description
Cintas is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice for our Fire Protection business. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who would like to learn a trade in the Fire Protection industry. This position provides valuable work experience by working alongside a technician in the service, inspection and repair of sprinkler systems. Our progressive training approach combines on the job training, online and classroom instruction. This candidate will be paired with a qualified technician to provide on the job training. Cintas partners with outside vendors to provide additional instruction. Our progressive training program will provide the tools and certifications to convert to a qualified Fire Sprinkler Technician, wherein the job duties will include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards, performing on-site emergency repairs of our customer’s sprinkler systems and identifying non-conformances to code.
Skills/Qualifications
Required

High School Diploma/GED
Valid driver’s license
Preferred

Experience in the Fire Protection industry
Experience with trades such as HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing

Garage Door Technician / Epoxy Floor Installer

– Drive safely and efficiently from point to point in service area.

– Engage with customers, offering clear explanations and solutions with patience and compassion.

– Installation, maintenance, and repair of garage doors and operators in an efficient, safe and professional manner.

– Diagnose faulty equipment and apply knowledge of functional operation of unit and systems to identify the extent and cause of malfunction.

– Mix flooring materials to fit specific areas accurately.

– Prepare subfloors by leveling, cleaning, and repairing as needed.

– Remove old flooring materials when necessary.

– Ensure installations meet industry standards and manufacturer specifications.

– Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences and provide recommendations.

– Complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

– Inspect and troubleshoot flooring issues as they arise.

HVAC TECH

We are looking for a HVAC Service Technician to join our team! You will install, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems
Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
Perform routine preventative maintenance
Respond to emergency maintenance requests
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

This is a small family owned business, pay is based on experience

Electrician

University of Vermont (UVM) is recruiting an Electrician. This is a full-time position with great benefits and work life balance. Electricians install, repair, maintain, and test electrical equipment and systems. They also troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems and promote a workplace culture which encourages safety within the field and shop. Electricians operate a university vehicle and may be required to operate an aerial lift.

High school diploma, Vermont Journey Electrical License, and one year experience in electrical systems required. Basic computer skills required. Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain and driver’s check required. Specific physical requirements may apply based on job functions. HVAC Technician

University of Vermont (UVM) is recruiting a HVAC Technician. This is a full-time position with great benefits and work life balance. This position performs highly skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of building heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and controls. HVAC Techs perform highly skilled work in the maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment. They operate a University vehicle to transport materials, tools, and equipment and may be required to operate an aerial lift.

High School diploma, Vermont Type S C3 License and Vermont Natural Gas Installer Certification, or ability to acquire within six months, and three years’ experience in HVAC equipment and controls installation, maintenance and repair experience required.
