Our Company

Pennichuck Corporation is engaged primarily in the collection, storage, treatment, distribution and sale of potable water in southern and central New Hampshire. We have two business segments: regulated water utility operations and non-regulated water management services. This field position is based in our treatment plant in Nashua, NH.

Water Treatment Operator

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include the operation, monitoring, controlling, maintaining, testing and troubleshooting of the water treatment processes at our plants, booster and well stations and/or water storage facilities. Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Operate, monitor, control, test and troubleshoot the water treatment process at the Nashua Water Treatment Plant, a 24/7/365 operation.
Travel assigned routes to perform routine inspection, calibration, sample collection and maintenance duties on booster stations, well stations and/or storage facilities and equipment to ensure the water systems remain working efficiently and within established standards of operation.
Perform a variety of standardize testing and analysis to ensure optimal water quality and compliance with federal and state regulations and general water quality goals
Travel to, inspect and maintain assigned storage tanks, dams or intake structures.
Qualifications for this position include

Required:

·         A background which demonstrates a mechanically inclined skilled set.

·         The ability to work a rotating shift. Our treatment facility operates 24 hours per day/365 days per year.

Valid state driver’s license in good standing.
Desirable

Current possession of a Water Treatment Certification II is highly desirable.
Prior experience in water treatment preferred

The Ideal candidate will have:
• Experience with installation, maintenance, and repairs of residential and commercial oil and/or
Propane heating equipment
• Strong customer focus

• HAZMAT endorsement / Propane License a plus

Experience:
Will have at least one year of relevant oil and/or propane service experience.

Certification, Licensing, and Testing:
• Apprentice, Journeyman or Master designation licensing is necessary in states where required.
• Applicable propane CETP certification is required for propane technicians.
• All technicians must be able to pass a pre-employment physical.
• All technicians must have a valid motor vehicle drivers’ license. Driving record is reviewed at
employment, and annually thereafter, and must meet company standards.

Emergency vehicle technician

We are hiring full-time emergency vehicle installers at our manufacturing facility. Primary responsibilities are installing, testing, repairing and removing 12-volt law enforcement vehicle equipment, including, but not limited light bars, flashers, sirens, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, video cameras, laptops, printers, consoles, transport partitions, K-9 cages and more. This will include working on new vehicles, upgrading existing vehicles and servicing prior installs.

Entry Level Commercial HVAC Technician

Entry level position for HVAC Commercial service tech. Must be willing to get NH gasfitter license.

– Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems, appliances, and equipment.
– Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems.
– Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC/R systems and appliances.
– Repair or replace defective parts or components in HVAC/R systems and appliances.
– Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working with mechanical equipment.
– Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Medical Equipment Service Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

The Medical Equipment Service Technician is responsible for the repair and upgrade of Novocure devices. This includes contributing to & maintaining Service procedures and work instructions as they pertain to the US Operations.

This is a full time, non-exempt position reporting to the US Service Supervisor and is located in Portsmouth, NH.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Repair and upgrade Novocure devices per released procedures

·        Document service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records

·        Contribute to and maintain the Service Department’s procedures and work instructions

·        Learn processes and procedures of advanced repairs requiring soldering

 

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

·        High school diploma or equivalent experience; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred

·        0 to 2 years’ experience working in a service or assembler group for a DME

·        Soldering experience preferred

·        Experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred

·        Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP preferred

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

·        Demonstrated experience working in a team environment

·        Ability to execute responsibilities with minimal direct supervision and have a high attention to detail

·        Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams

·        Ability to learn testing and troubleshooting of electronic devices involving specialized and generic test equipment and software diagnostic tools

·        Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively

·        Knowledge of ESD protocols and practices preferred
